Which vehicle categories are accepted?

As an Allocab partner driver, you are free to drive the vehicle of your choice, as long as it meets the category criteria defined according to the information on your vehicle registration certificate (carte grise).

📋 Vehicle category criteria (based on the registration certificate)

The category of your vehicle is determined using fields J2 and J3 on your registration certificate:

• Sedan (Berline): J2: AA or CI and J3: CI
• Van: J2: M1 and J3: AF or AG (8 seats total, minimum 7 passengers)
• Motorbike: category L on the registration certificate (e.g., Honda Goldwing)
• Accessible vehicle (TPMR): according to the indicated equipment and number of wheelchair user seats (UFR – Usager en Fauteuil Roulant)

💡 If you’re unsure about your vehicle’s category, check your registration certificate or contact our team for verification.

Maximum vehicle age

• Combustion vehicles: up to 7 years old
• Hybrid or electric vehicles: up to 12 years old
• Vintage or collector vehicles: no age limit

ℹ️ Special cases

If your vehicle doesn’t fully meet the above criteria but still complies with legal requirements for your activity (VTC, taxi, or moto-taxi), you can submit a request including:

• Your vehicle model
• A copy of your registration certificate
• Recent photos of the vehicle
