Allocab Quality and Ethics Charter
With respect to ALLOCAB and other TRANSPORTERS
1.1. Management of passenger transport bookings
The TRANSPORTER agrees to:
- Keep the schedule of their Drivers up to date and indicate each Driver’s unavailability on the ALLOCAB platform;
- Fulfill all bookings for Trips and/or Availability services for which their Driver(s) have been selected;
- Perform Trips and/or Availability services in accordance with the booking made by the Client and for which their Driver(s) were selected;
- Diligently and regularly manage and monitor all bookings for Trips and Availability services and operations carried out with ALLOCAB and AFFILIATED TRANSPORTERS;
- Provide a secure and high-quality passenger transport service for both their own clients and clients of ALLOCAB or AFFILIATED TRANSPORTERS;
- Act efficiently and prioritize service quality in the common interest of all members of the ALLOCAB platform;
- Require their Drivers to be punctual at the departure time of the Trip and/or Availability service;
- Notify the Client and/or Passenger promptly in the event of any unforeseen circumstances preventing pickup;
- Provide comfortable and quality equipment to the Passenger, adapted to their physical needs and weather conditions.
1.2. Brand respect and commercial conduct
- Refrain from damaging the ALLOCAB brand or that of any AFFILIATED TRANSPORTER through actions incompatible with the rules of the ALLOCAB platform or the professional ethics of paid passenger transport;
- Refrain from undertaking any commercial activity (distribution of business cards, flyers, sales calls, etc.) towards Clients considered part of ALLOCAB’s or any other AFFILIATED TRANSPORTER’s client portfolio;
- Refrain from creating or storing a list of contact details of Clients considered part of ALLOCAB’s or any other AFFILIATED TRANSPORTER’s client portfolio.
1.3. Ethics and insurance
- Provide complete, accurate, and up-to-date information about their vehicles and Drivers;
- Act in good faith and with full transparency;
- Maintain a valid insurance contract suitable for paid passenger transport using two- or three-wheeled motor vehicles.
Compliance with applicable laws and regulations
The TRANSPORTER agrees to comply with all laws and regulations applicable to the paid provision, on demand, of chauffeur-driven passenger cars and/or two- or three-wheeled vehicles for the transport of passengers and their luggage.
2.1. Professional card
The TRANSPORTER ensures that each Driver holds a professional card issued by the prefect of their department, and in Paris by the Police Prefect, specifically:
- Holds a driving license of the appropriate vehicle category, with the probationary period completed;
- Holds a certificate issued by the prefect after a medical examination confirming physical fitness;
- Has not committed a serious traffic offense resulting in the loss of six license points;
- Has not been convicted for driving without a license in the vehicle category concerned, or despite license invalidation or cancellation;
- Has not been convicted of theft, fraud, intentional bodily harm, sexual assault, or drug-related offenses.
2.2. Passenger cars and/or two- or three-wheeled motor vehicles
The TRANSPORTER ensures that each Driver operates a vehicle compliant with regulations, specifically:
2.2.1. Passenger cars
- Seats at least 4 and at most 9 passengers including the Driver;
- Vehicle age under 6 years, except for classic cars;
- Provides comfort and amenities suitable for passenger needs, including at least 4 doors, minimum overall length of 4.50 meters, and minimum width of 1.70 meters;
- Net power exceeding 88 kW;
- Equipped with distinctive signage as defined by the Ministry of the Interior decree of September 6, 2010 (sticker issued by the Prefecture, displaying the company registration number with Atout France, placed on the bottom left of the windshield on the Driver’s side).
2.2.2. Two- or three-wheeled vehicles
- Vehicle age under 4 years;
- Holds an annual maintenance certificate;
- Equipped with signage as defined by the Ministry of the Interior decree of November 3, 2010.
2.3. Trips and Availability services
The TRANSPORTER ensures that each Driver complies, during Trips and/or Availability services, with regulations applicable to paid passenger transport and luggage transport by chauffeur-driven cars or two- or three-wheeled vehicles, specifically:
Passenger cars with driver:
- Parking on public roads is prohibited without a prior rental;
- Prior booking is mandatory;
- Renting the car to third parties is prohibited;
- Remove or cover vehicle signage when used for non-professional purposes;
- Inform passengers of the CO₂ emissions associated with the service.
Two- or three-wheeled vehicles:
- Parking or cruising on public roads in search of clients is prohibited;
- Parking near train stations or airports is allowed only with a prior booking, respecting traffic laws and regulations (Article L3123-2 of the French Transport Code).
