How can I contact my driver before the ride?
Need to get in touch with your driver before pickup?
Here are the different ways to do so, depending on how you booked your ride.
Driver contact details
The driver’s phone number is sent 15 minutes before the scheduled pickup time to the phone number provided in the “Passenger” field during booking.
By text message (to the passenger)
A text message is automatically sent about 15 minutes before your ride.
It includes:
- The driver’s first name
 - The vehicle model and license plate number
 - The driver’s phone number
 
You can call the driver directly by tapping the number displayed in this SMS.
From the Allocab mobile app
- Open the Allocab app.
 - Go to the “Bookings” tab.
 - Open the relevant ride.
 - The driver’s number will appear 15 minutes before pickup.
You can also track their location in real time on the map. 
From the Allocab website (www.allocab.com)
- Log in to your Allocab account.
 - Go to the “Bookings” section.
 - Open your ride in the “Upcoming” tab.
 - The driver’s number will appear 15 minutes before pickup.
You can also track the vehicle live on the map. 
Want to leave a note for your driver?
If you’d like to share details such as an exact meeting point or bulky luggage, you can add a message to the driver when booking.
This message becomes visible as soon as the driver accepts the ride.
If you can’t reach your driver
- Check that the correct phone number was entered in the “Passenger” field when booking.
